Eligibility:

The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for this studentship:

• University would normally expect applicants to have an Honours degree at Upper Second Class (2:1) and/or an appropriate Master’s degree.
• Additional Eligibility: Applicants should have excellent skills in the analysis of human remains and be familiar with skeletal and dental variation. Experience and acquaintance with advanced statistical methods are desirable.
• International entry requirements: If English is not applicant’s first language, they will need to provide evidence that they can understand English to a satisfactory level. English language requirements for this course are normal:
• IELTS (Academic) 6.5 with minimum 5.5 in each component or equivalent.

Benefit:
A fully-funded Studentship includes a maintenance grant of £14,000 per year to contribute towards living expenses during the course of your research, as well as a fee waiver for 36 months. Associated costs, such as for fieldwork and conference attendance, will also be met under the Studentship.
